Earth Hour 2013 - Only few hours to go

>> Saturday, March 23, 2013

Earth Hour is a worldwide event organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and held towards the end of March annually, encouraging households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change. The event, conceived by WWF and Leo Burnett, first took place in 2007, when 2.2 million residents of Sydney participated by turning off all non-essential lights. Following Sydney's lead, many other cities around the world adopted the event in 2008. Earth Hour 2013 will be held on March 23, 2013 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. during participants' local time.

Only few hours left for Earth Hour which is at 8:30 PM to 9:30PM today. Let's join hands for the noble cause and let's unite to say that "We care for Nature."

If you’re interested in participating in the great cause, we invite you to register on the Earth Hour site, so that your participation will be included in the official tally of participants. For more information on Earth Hour, visit www.earthhour.org.

Please join us on Saturday, March 27, 2010 to participate in Earth Hour , a global event in which people around the world will switch off their lights to take a stand against climate change. We request you to switch off the lights on that day from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (your local time).
